IoR Chair Marcial Boo Speaks at International Health and Care Regulators Conference in Jersey

On 16 June, IoR Chair Marcial Boo addressed an international gathering of health and care regulators in Jersey, at a conference hosted by the Jersey Care Commission, led by IoR trustee Becky Sherrington.

Marcial spoke about the current challenges facing regulators in the UK and highlighted how collaboration and shared learning can help the sector navigate these issues effectively. The conference featured rich contributions from a range of experts, including academics from Erasmus University of Rotterdam, offering global perspectives and valuable insights.

The event provided an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas and foster international connections. Learnings from the conference will be brought back to IoR members through Special Interest Groups (SIGs) and other forums, ensuring the wider community benefits from the discussion and expertise shared.
