The Director of HSC Quality Improvement and Regulation will be required to provide inspiring leadership in the delivery of a HSC focussed review and inspection programme, to support HSC services in delivering safe and effective care, and to encourage ongoing improvement.
The Director will work collaboratively with provider organisations, senior leaders, service users and carers, across the HSC system to shape, plan and implement a Quality Improvement (QI) approach across HSC services.
The building of skill and capacity for adopting QI in improving the quality of services will be a key part of the role, to ensure meaningful improvement of services can be demonstrated, alongside scaling up and spreading improvement initiatives which have demonstrated positive impact across the wider system.
