Institute of Regulation (IoR) members are welcome to participate in a wide range of conversations, with plenty of opportunities to meet with regulatory experts and professionals.

IoR annual conference
Supported by Objective Corporation, this year’s conference delegates will explore ‘A smarter future for UK regulation?’ in London on Thursday 7 March 2024.
Introduction to regulatory practice
We’re offering three opportunities to join regulatory experts from PA Consulting in this highly accessible introduction to regulation.
Quarterly member forum
Hosted by Institute of Regulation trustees, the member forum is an online opportunity for all members to hear from thought-provoking speakers on the issues of regulation today.
Professional development opportunities:
Fundamentals of regulation
Expert in public policy and regulation, Professor Martin Lodge will lead two cohorts this year – May and November - exploring regulatory theory and practice. This two day, in person course is ideal for those new to regulation.
NEW: Regulatory masterclass series
New for 2024, we are trialling a new masterclass series, led by international regulatory expert, Professor Jeroen van der Heijden. Exclusively available to executive and non-executives in regulation, this series will be hosted online during Spring 2024.
