Why this role
This is an exciting time for someone to take this new opportunity and shape People Services Team in delivering our corporate strategy for 2027. This role involves managing recruitment and onboarding, work with the People Services team to deliver efficient services, and support the Talent Acquisition Lead in modernising the service offering.
The Function
You will be responsible for managing our recruitment and onboarding experience from end to end. You work as part of a team to ensure that our services are delivered efficiently, making this a great place to work. You will be part of the broader busy People Services team delivering joined up service delivery, professional advice and solutions across the organisation in line with our strategic objectives. You will also be supporting the Talent Acquisition Lead in transformational project to professionalise and modernise the service offering across the Commission.

Your Responsibilities
• You will deputise for the Talent Acquisition and Resourcing Lead in times of absence or peaks in work demand
• You will keep up to date knowledge of recruitment legislation and potential future changes including diversity and inclusion developments and ensure this knowledge is shared. You will ensure that you keep your team members up to date with any important changes.
• You will manage the approvals processes for all areas of recruitment, ensuring information is provided in a timely manner for our internal Resource Panel and provide the secretariat for this group. You will challenge business cases which are not compliant and ensure the correct processes are followed in a consistent manner across the department.
• You will maintain and create content for our webpages such as Indeed, Glassdoor, internal and external careers page to ensure content is up to date and informative to improve our employer branding.
• Maintain structured onboarding processes to facilitate the integration professionals into the Commission.
What we’re looking for
Essential criteria:
1. A great communicator, someone who can influence and build rapport with stakeholders of all levels.
2. An ability to prioritise and respond to requests with tight deadlines, along with multi-tasking in a fast-paced working environment, whilst still maintaining a strong attention to detail.
3. Flexible and adaptable, managing a wide variety of tasks, and dealing with unexpected changes at short notice.
4. Demonstrable Experience of leading end-to-end recruitment campaigns across a variety of professions, with the ability to advise on best practices across each stage of the recruitment process
5. Experience of delivering continuous improvement within a Talent Acquisition team.
Desirable criteria:
1.Experience of leading multi-disciplinary teams including obtaining and considering legal advice.
2. Regulatory Enforcement experience – leading the delivery of high profile/ complex investigations (Level 4/5 in new Risk Process).
3. Knowledge and familiarisation of core Regulatory principles and legal requirements.
