Job description

Are you a communications assistant with some experience, looking for a new challenge? We want to recruit a motivated, enthusiastic, and proactive communications professional to help us deliver our communications and engagement strategy. From helping us to deliver our annual events calendar, to contributing to content creation projects, to overseeing our social media channels – your role will be varied and creative.  

The Professional Standards Authority (PSA) promotes the health, safety and wellbeing of patients, service users and the public by raising standards of regulation and registration of people working in health and care. We are an independent body, accountable to the UK Parliament.

You will be working alongside our Communications Manager and our Communications & Publications Officer within a small communications team.  We are a busy and ambitious team looking for a creative and organised person to support and enhance our plans.  You will have some experience working in one or more of the following areas, in a support role:

Event management

Content creation

Social media  

Digital campaigns  

Website development

Administration (e.g. updating documents, editing spreadsheets)

Desk-based research
