Q. Who is organising the Institute of Regulation Awards.
A. The awards are organised by the Institute of Regulation, in partnership with member sponsors Nous Group, and PA Consulting.
Q. How do I enter and what will the nomination form look like?
A. For each category you will be asked to submit the form below for your entry or nomination:
- An overview of the entry or nomination, 100 word limit.
- An outline of the tangible benefits achieved by the team or individual, and the impact this has had beyond the immediate team, business area or department, using the Situation, Task, Action, Result (STAR) method, 100 words per STAR letter, 400 word limit.
Q. Who can enter the Institute of Regulation Awards?
A. Anyone who is currently employed by a regulator based in the UK, Channel Islands and Ireland.
Q. What are the awards categories?
A. There are three categories for the 2025 awards:
- Innovation in Regulation, for teams
- Rising Star in Regulation, for individuals
- Collaboration in Regulation, for teams.
Q. What is the entry / nomination deadline?
A. We are seeking all submissions by 17.00hrs on Monday 17 February 2025.
Q. What is the judging process?
A. All entries will be passed onto our awards panel – members of the board of the Institute of Regulation and member sponsors. A short list of entries / nominations will be created, and final judging will take place, selecting an overall winner in each category. We anticipate contacting award winners by Friday 07 March 2025.
Q. When will the awards ceremony take place and can I attend?
A. Awards will be announced during the Institute of Regulation Annual Conference on Thursday 27 March 2025, award winners will be contacted in advance and invited to attend the event.
